New Chairman and Deputy Chairman
At the Board meeting on 22 September 2015 Mrs Christine Moughtin was elected Chairman of the Commissioners and Mr Ian Davison was elected Deputy Chairman. These elections resulted from Mr Ray Harmer's resignation from the Commissioners following his election to the House of Keys.

Commissioners Surgery
The regular monthly Commissioners surgery will take place this Saturday, 13th June 2015 from 11:00am to 12 noon at the Town Hall. A Commissioner will be available to discuss any issue or concern you may have.

Ray Harmer re-elected as Chair of Peel Commissioners
At the AGM on 1st May, Ray Harmer was re-elected as Chair of Peel Town Commissioners for the 2015/16 municipal year. Christine Moughtin was elected as vice-Chair.

VE Day Service - 8 May 2015
To mark the anniversary of VE Day the Royal British Legion (Peel Branch) are holding a short service on Peel Hill at the tree memorial site this Friday, 8th May 2015 at 6:30pm. All are welcome to attend.

Peel Harbour
The recent silting up of Peel Harbour has attracted a lot of publicity particularly from German Parish Commissioners resulting a recent public meeting well attended by members of the public.
Peel Town Commissioners have been in regular discussions with the Director of Ports from the middle of 2014 over the silting up of Peel marina and are fully supportive of the Harbour Division's scheme to remove silt over a two year period. In addition the Commissioners are also supportive of the annual maintenance regime that the Department will adopt to ensure the harbour does not silt up again.
Lusitania Commemoration- Evening Celebration
Tickets are still available for an evening of entertainment to be held in a marquee erected on the former swimming pool site, Marine Parade, Peel. There will be a meal of "Pie and Mash" with a vegetarian option and Davison's ice cream to follow. Bushey's have prepared a special brew to be called "The Wanderer" which will be available on this special occasion. Live music by the Shenaningan Band. Guest of honour will be His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor. Tickets are £20 with a proportion going to the Peel R.N.L.I.
